So the morning after a very exciting night at the hospital (where there were two codes(!!) right when I was leaving at 11:30pm of which I stayed for and didn't leave till close to 2am) Starflower, Randy (her boyfriend), and I went to see A Very Pony Place at the Manchester, CT cinema. |

They gave these magnets, exclusive to the movie, to the "children" that came to see the movie. lol We each got one ;) |

This animation popped up and blinked before the movie. Freaaaky! |

Instead of playing the movie right away they played "The Ladybug Jamboree" which you could have seen off the Hasbro site way back when. |

The movie was actually 3 different stories combined. There was a new pony who actually read and told the stories to Sunny Daze, Minty, and Pinkie Pie. |

New Pony Alert!!! She was named Story Bell. |
|
|
The first story was about the two new ponies, Star Light and Heart Bright and how they wanted wings. The whoooole story was in rhyme. |
|
|
Then the two little ponies had wings one morning but they turned out to not be the easiest to control. It ended up with them wishing they were how they used to be....and then they woke up and they were back to normal! I'm sensing a moral after this story. ;) |

The next story introduced a new pony, Puzzlemint. This story was about how Minty and the ponies were putting together a surprise birthday party for Pinkie Pie. Puzzlemint was in charge of distracting her so she wouldn't see the other ponies decorate. |

Pinkie ruined the surprise and found out everything was green....I mean pink! |

In one scene Minty accidentally knocks a can of pink paint on herself and has Pinkie Pie seeing double.
|
|
|
Then to our surprise the day after was actually Pinkie's birthday but everyone was happy none the less. |
|
|
The last story introduced another new pony. This story was about the pony Lily Lightly and how every time she laughed her horn would glow. This made her very embarrassed because she was different so she ran away. |
|
|
Lily meets a firefly that helps her embrace her uniqueness and how she loves to glow. |
|
|
When Lily's friends find her they think she is just the nifftiest and want to be just like her. Ending in another moral where it's ok to be different. |
|
|
After seeing the movie we made a pony run to the local Target to see what they had (and also to return a 20Q thingy for a bigger one). |
|
|
This aisle was glowing! It was the first time we had seen the Pony Ville ponies and they were very very cute. Wish we had enough money and space to start collecting these. |
|
|
Before seeing the movie I was set on NOT buying Lily Lightly (because I thought she was wierd) but Hasbro worked their magic and made me cave. I really liked her after the movie especially since she had one of the best songs in the movie too. You win this time Hasbro!! |

A few weeks later Starflower came home with the movie poster from the theater! Excuse me for looking all blah in my pajamas and sweatshirt! ;) |
