The Babysitter

  "Ember!" said her mother Blue Belle. "I am going to go to a sales meeting and you have to be on your best behavior with the baby-sitter!"Baby Ember looked sad, she wanted her mother Blue Belle to stay with her. "Bud, me not so widdle anymore." "Me coome wit you!"She said clearly. Her mother Blue Belle told her that sales meetings are for adults,and she gets to be baby-sitted by Lofty and her daughter. "Me wanna go wit you." said Ember as she was crying. But Lofty and baby Lofty already came. Baby Ember hid behind her mother's back sobbing. Blue Belle promised that she will be back and will bring her back a suprise."A supwise?" She said eagerly."Yes sweetie peach",she said as she nuzzled her cheeks. "I will come back tonight with a little something".  Blue Belle gave Lofty the instructions,Gave Ember a kiss on her forehead and drove away.  " Now you two have fun while I prepare dinner" said Lofty as she led her daughter to Ember's room."Whut are you you dowin in my woom?" said Baby Ember angrily. Baby Lofty said"Mommy said I cwood cwome to pway wit you."    "Wath me." said Baby Lofty as she jumped up and flew .Ember watched in amazement as she saw Baby Lofty fly!\b  "You can fwi!?" Said confused Baby Ember."Can you teech me?" she said. But before Lofty could answer.Her mother said "Dinnertime you two!" They both ran downstairs eager to eat. "Wat iz this stuff?'' said Baby Ember. "It's Broccli and cheese." Said Lofty. "Brocwii? YUCK!" said digusted Ember.''At weast twie." said Baby Lofty as she cleaned her plate. Ember tried the broccli and cheese . She smiled and cleaned her plate. She had cheese all over her pink little face."That was verwy gwood!'' said full Baby Ember as Lofty cleaned both of thier little faces. "You two wash up and go to bed" said Lofty as she washed the dinner plates.They both went up the stairs."Wace you" said Ember. They ran up and Baby Lofty was already in her little crib with Ember. Ember dreamed that tomorrow her mother would come back and give her a big pony hug.It was the sweetest little dream she ever had. It was morning and Ember  wast he first to wake up to hear the sound of a car horn. She woke up Baby Lofty and told her that her Mother was home. She and Baby Lofty woke up too see Ember's mother holding something behind her back.Baby Ember hugged her mother and Blue Belle gave her a special suprise, it was  a  beautiful lavender box with something in it  Ember opened it and it had a ceramic Ivy pony in a tutu and ballet slippers.She was spinning around and around and the music box played the most           beautiful version of the My little pony theme song. She hugged her  mother but she asked her if she could let Lofty and her daughter babysit her again.Blue Belle laughed and said   ''Alrighty she said." They waved goodbye. Blue Belle picked up little Ember and rocked her in her forearms. But before they left, she waved at the window with the music box in her hoof  and she waved at thier car with the other one. And she winked and said"Bye bye"   in a sleepy voice."Looks like somebody needs a nap" says her mother. "Bud,me not ti..ti.red she said as she yawned. As her mother tucked her in in her little crib,she gave her a kiss and a nuzzle on the cheek. and cracked the door and left the hallway light on. Baby Ember snuggled up in her blanket.She quietly picked up her music box and slept with it through her naps and sleep. The End
